Overview
Do Good Crew is seeking a creative, audience-obsessed Manager of Social Media & Content Strategy to own the creative vision and growth strategy across our platform ecosystem. This is a role for someone who thinks in stories, lives on the feeds, and has a proven instinct for what makes content stop a scroll and move people to share.
You will develop and execute the social content strategy that grows David Begnaud's personal brand, the Do Good Crew community, and The Person Who Believed In Me podcast accounts. You'll work hand-in-hand with David and our production team to transform long-form stories into high-performing short-form content -and bring original creative ideas that keep our mission-driven storytelling at the leading edge of what's resonating on social.
What This Person Will Drive
1. Content Strategy & Creative Direction
- Develop and own platform-specific content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube for all three accounts
- Build social-first creative frameworks that transform long-form podcast and video stories into high-performance short-form content
- Stay ahead of trending formats, sounds, hooks, and cultural moments -and move quickly when they align with our mission
- Develop a consistent creative voice and visual identity for each account that is distinct yet unified under the Do Good Crew brand
2. Hands-On Content Creation
- Personally create and edit short-form social content using CapCut, Canva, or other solutions, and platform-native editors
- Produce Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and story-driven clips with and for David Begnaud
- Capture and create content in real-time when news, moments, or stories demand it
- Develop templates, formats, and repeatable content frameworks the broader team can execute against
3. Audience Growth
- Own follower growth and engagement rate goals across all accounts
- Develop and test new content formats, hooks, and storytelling approaches to expand reach and attract new audiences
- Build and execute strategies for cross-platform audience development and community engagement
- Identify collaboration, partnership, and amplification opportunities that accelerate growth
4. Creative Collaboration
- Partner directly with David Begnaud on content ideation, on-camera moments, and brand storytelling
- Collaborate with producers, editors, and the distribution team to ensure content is optimized across every step from creation to publishing
- Bring a clear creative point of view to team brainstorms -with the receipts to back it up
- Serve as the internal creative voice on what good content looks like for Do Good Crew
5. Performance & Iteration
- Track and analyze content performance to identify what's working and double down on it
- Conduct regular A/B testing on hooks, formats, captions, and posting strategies
- Contribute to weekly performance reporting with creative insights and recommendations
- Use data as a creative tool -letting audience behavior inform and sharpen the content strategy
Ideal Background
- 3-5+ years in social media content creation, creative strategy, or digital media -ideally for a creator, personality, or mission-driven brand
- Proven track record of growing social accounts through original, platform-native content
- Hands-on creator: expert in editing softares , CapCut, Canva, and short-form video production -you make the content, not just direct it
- Deep understanding of TikTok culture, Instagram Reels behavior, and YouTube Shorts mechanics
- Experience working closely with on-camera talent or a public-facing personality preferred
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment where resourcefulness beats resources
- Has worked in an always-on creator environment

- Has operated in a startup or early-stage environment where they had to figure things out with limited resources

- $65,000 – $70,000 yr
